So, I've figured out the basics of Reporting Services - I think. Now I need to learn a lot more. I need to learn how to optimize reports. How to make reports run faster. How to set up a proper snapshot. Figure out when to use Filtering and when to use parameters. And a few other things as well, I guess.
(10 minutes later)
I've just ordered 4 books from Amazon.co.uk...
Hitchhiker's Guide to SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services
By: Peter Blackburn, William R. Vaughn
*Because I've read some good reviews about it, and I liked the title.
Fast Track to MDX
By: Mark Whitehorn, et al
*Because I need to know more about MDX, and this seemed to be a good basic book.
SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services Step by Step Book/cd Package
By: S Misner
*Because ... it was cheap if I bought the Hitchiker-book... Well, it's probably usefull anyway.
And not exactly a techie-book:What You Wear Can Change Your Life
By: Trinny Woodall, Susannah Constantine
Because I like their show and sometimes feel I need to look more... corp? Well, I just like Trinny and Susannah. :)
The books will arrive some time during Christmas, so I can start the new year with more resources.
