Changed my name

Yvette at the innergeek website did a new take on Shakespeare the other day:
"What's in a name? That which we call a geek
By any other word would smell as l33t."

-From Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet (II, ii, 1-2)
[with liberties taken by the geekmaster]

It's taken me 7 months to do, but now I've finally changed my last name after getting married to my Techie Husband Bernt Lervik. I now hold a paper saying my full name is Kaisa Marie Lindahl Lervik. Lindahl has been changed from last name to middle name, and Lervik is now my only last name.

I'll have to send notices to various places. It seems the banks I use will be updated by the public records, at least they do when you move your postal address. I'll have to notify friends and family. And also all organizations I'm a member of, and the HR department at work. I'll have to get a new passport and drivers licence, but I would have had to do that anyway, with those nifty new biometric passports we got now.

And then there's the whole business of usernames and e-mail addresses. The user names at work is created by letters from my first and last name. Should I update my username, or just leave it like it is now? My fingers now type my username more or less by automatically, changing will cause trouble. I'd love to have a real life option of Find / Replace. :)
