This morning my lovely husband did the final changes to our infrastructure to let the new version of blogs.spipp.net go live. So here we are, with a brand new solution and design.
I'm still trying to figure out how to customize the layouts etc. Right now I'm running Iroha skins for both blog and photo gallery, with a few tweaks by myself. (Added links to my gallery in my blog and to my blog in the gallery.) So far, so good. There are still a few minor details, but overall I'm quite happy.Update: Finally figured out the last issues. No email was sent through the site, and anonymous users could not add comments. Turns out I'd forgotten to change these settings from the initial testing phase. Once I changed the e-mail settings, 4 or 5 e-mails got dumped into my e-mail inbox. And anonymous users can post again. Great! (Will have to try those anti-spam functions now.
